Calvert Government is a semester-long course that focuses on American and international governments. This online course explores the history of governments, the characteristics of the United States government, political parties, and the voting process.
 
Students also gain practice in researching, giving presentations, writing essays, and creating an argument in topics such as elected officials and the Supreme Court. In addition to the default course program, Calvert Government includes alternate lessons, projects, and tests for use in enhancing instruction or addressing individual needs.
