Calvert World Civilizations examines the growth of human society from our earliest beginnings to the present. Students study topics including agricultural societies, ancient civilizations, empires, trade, and migration. The year-long course also features practice in researching, using technology, and writing through various projects.
In addition to the default course program, Calvert World Civilization includes alternate lessons, projects, essays, and tests for use in enhancing instruction or addressing individual needs.
